Hi I'm Smiley Ashley :)

I grew up with 6 siblings in Arizona. I play the violin and also like to smile and sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Not only do I love to smile, but I love to laugh! No matter how many times I've seen a movie with a funny scene, I'll still laugh as I watch it. I have divorce parents and with that said, I have 6 siblings. 3 sisters, 2 step brothers, and 1 half brother.

Why I am a Mormon

Convert means to change oneself. To truly convert, you literally need to change who you were yesterday and become someone better today and forever more. I've experienced true conversion when I was just reaching 10th grade. The summer before my 2nd year of high school, I was able to know for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was true. I have divorce parents and live with both parents (half custody; one week on, one week off for example). My dad is a member and my mom is not. when it came to church activities and services, we went to them based on whose house we were at for the week. That particular summer, my mom had me and my sisters go to a youth camp for the church she's been attending. For the whole week I was there, I've been thinking that I can't live like this the rest of my life. I can't be going to 2 churches my whole life. I'd have to decide which church is true and what better time to decide that than right then and there. So i would ponder in my heart, throughout the week, which church is true. After that youth camp, I went to Girls' Camp with my dad's stake. After these camps, I reflected on how I felt in my heart and I knew for myself that the LDS church was true. Long-story-short, I would say that I had my own personal experience similar to what Joseph Smith experienced when he was finding out for himself which church was true. I'd like leave that with you and I say this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I've been called to serve the Nicaragua Managua North Mission. I get to speak Spanish and report to the MTC in Mexico. I did take 3 years of Spanish in high school, but still need improvement [especially speaking fluently].
