Hi I'm Shari

I grew up in Idaho and moved to Utah. I love soccer and yard work. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a high school graduate, preparing to serve an LDS mission. I play the trumpet and love to sing. I enjoy the great outdoors and activities in it; walking, hiking, or just spending time with my family in the backyard. I love playing sports, even if I'm not very good at them. I love animals and thunder storms. I won't turn down a good book, and I enjoy brain teasers and challenging myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, so I've always had it in my life. I wouldn't have it any other way. I've been blessed with a fantastic family that is strong in the gospel. Like everyone else, however, in that transition of leaning on the testimony of others and gaining my own, I struggled somewhat to know the truth. Yet, as I read the Book of Mormon, prayed and asked my Father in Heaven, I came to feel and know the truth of the gospel and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. For, "by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." (Moroni 10:5)

How I live my faith

I serve any way I can. Through service we are able to form stronger relationships and bonds with each other. Preparing to go on a full-time mission has helped me grow spiritually. I seek out the doctrine of Jesus Christ and try to live today a better person than I was yesterday. I make many mistakes but as long as I am learning from them, repenting, improving, and striving to do my best, that's all that matters.
