Hi I'm Chris Myers

I'm an Ultimate Frisbee lover, I play and sing music, and in a Mormon.

About Me

So I grew up in Coeur d'Alene Idaho and lived there for 19 years of my life. I grew up playing all kinds of sports such as Football, Baseball, and Soccer. Later on in High School I started playing Lacrosse and then eventually made it to my favorite sport which is Ultimate Frisbee! I grew up playing music. I started in the 5th grade playing the violin but ended up switching to the Trombone after that. Since then, I have learned how to play the Tuba and the Euphonium. By far my favorite is the Euphonium and I hope to do that in collage when I feet there! I'm very interested in chemistry and physics and I one day hope to become an engineer! I plan on going to BYU to study and gain a collage degree!

Why I am a Mormon

So i was born into the Church and so were both of my parents. In the early stages of my life I leaned on the beliefs of my parents. I went to church because that is what they did and I continued in the church because of them. But there came a time when i decided that i wanted to know for myself and not blindly follow my parents, so i decided to read the Book of Mormon. it was a challenge given to me by one of my Church leaders. I read the book cover to cover and took the challenge given to us in Moroni 10:4-5 to pray about whether or not the book is true or not. When i prayed i had this peaceful feeling come over me. At that moment I wasn't simply following my parents, i knew for myself. I testify that it is true and anyone can come to that knowledge if they only ask in faith.

How I live my faith

So Growing up i was involved in all the Youth activities that my Ward provided in Coeur d'Alene. We had a Youth group that met every week and we did different activities like camping, scouting, and we even made cool knives once! Right now i actually have the opportunity of serving as a missionary for the Church. I am serving in The Tennessee Nashville Spanish speaking mission. The Mission has brought some amazing blessings into my life. I am so glad that i decided to serve.
