Hi I'm Adele

I'm a mom of 3 beautiful kids, 2 sons and 1 daughter, a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the central valley of California as the youngest of seven children. I attended high school with over 4000 other students and very few of my own faith. I attended early morning seminary before school every morning to learn more about my faith and the scriptures. I graduated high school and went to college at Brigham Young University where I majored in Nursing. I met my husband during my sophomore year at school. We were married and just 15 months later, my husband was deployed to Iraq. The next year that he was gone was probably the hardest year of my life- attending nursing school while my husband was gone. I graduated nursing school and worked full time as a nurse until my first son was born in 2008. At that point I went back to working only every other weekend to spend as much time with my family as possible. I now have 3 beautiful children and work part time in the Birth Center as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery.

Why I am a Mormon

From the time I was a small child, I have always gone to church with my family. I was raised in this faith and never knew any different. I never questioned it until I left home and realized how different people were and how many different lifestyles there really were. I am so grateful that I was able to gain my own testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that this church is true without a doubt. I have prayed and studied my scriptures to receive my own revelation to know with surety that I am in the right place. Attending church every week for 3+ hours isn't always the easiest choice I make with 3 small kids, but seeing my children grow up and learn about their Savior Jesus Christ and gain their own testimonies gives me even more assurance that what I am doing and where I am is the right. I am able to feel my Savior's love and I am hopeful you will feel the same.

How I live my faith

I love being involved in my community. Most of the service I provide in my community comes through my work and church involvements and through friendships made in the community. I love being able to share aspects of my faith with couples who have lost a child. Many people find the gospel of Jesus Christ very comforting when faced with a situation like losing a child. At church, I serve in the primary organization at church with children up to age 12. I love how willing they are to learn and their pure innocence when they talk about Jesus. I love sharing my love for my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ with them and helping them to feel and recognize the love that our Savior has for them.
