Hi I'm McKell Allred

I grew up in Star Valley, Wyoming. I graduated from BYU in Provo, Utah. I was married in 1973 and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing most all sports such as golf, tennis, racquet ball, baseball, basketball and walley ball. I enjoy amateur magic, woodworking and painting. I have been married for nearly 42 years, have 6 children and dearly love my wife and family. I graduated from BYU at Provo, Utah and have worked as a designer for 41 years designing mostly power substations and homes. I am currently retired but do some consulting design drafting.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church with 4 generations of ancestors as members. I remain in the LDS church because of my witness from the Holy Ghost that it is true and my many witnesses and experiences in my life that confirm to me that it is true.

How I live my faith

I love serving others as I serve in the LDS church. I have been serving in the Varsity scouts for about 4.5 years and enjoy teaching and working with the youth. A good share of my service time in the church as been with the youth in many different aspects. My wife and I serve in one of the LDS temples as temple workers and we very much enjoy this assignment. I have had the great opportunity to serve as bishop and as stake president with several other types of assignments.
