Hi I'm Kenzie

I've grew up in Roy, Utah. I'm an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely LOVE to draw and sketch, and anything to do with fantasy things I adore. I also love to write my own stories, or stories with friends. I have a little sister who is just barely 16, and a great mom and dad.

Why I am a Mormon

I wasn't always very faithful in the church. Before the age of 13/14, I hated going to church, mostly because I didn't understand what they were teaching at all, and just had no interest in it. But one night, I was laying in my bed and crying, not feeling loved or important. It was one of the lower points in my life, as my depression coupled with my feeling unwanted just made me feel absolutely hopeless. And when you're 13, you really don't feel all that great about yourself anyway. So, as I was laying there, I remembered a lesson at church that actually got through to me. My teacher told me that my Heavenly Father loves us no matter what, and if we put all the faith we can in a prayer, He will answer us. Well, that sounded pretty good to me, so I mustered all of the faith I could (which really wasn't all that much), and asked a single prayer: "Are You there? I really want you to be there. I don't know if I can make it..." Immediately after, I felt this warmth come over me, almost like someone was pulling a blanket over me to tuck me in for the night. A calm feeling came over my mind, and the words "Don't worry, you'll make it" came in. At first I wondered if I myself had thought of that, but I realized that it didn't feel like a thought at all; it felt like someone was actually talking to me. After that, the rest is history. I became much more active in the church and my callings, and am now serving a mission to let others feel that warmth and love that I felt and still feel today.

How I live my faith

I am a sister missionary for the Church, and am currently assigned to serve in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania mission (though currently I'm only at the Provo, Utah Missionary Training Center). I used to be a ward missionary, teaching a class about Gospel Principles, and before that I have served as a Beehive, Mia maid, and Laurel class president/first counselor in the Young Women's program in my ward.
