Hi I'm Jessica Holbrook

I grew up in the United States- in North Carolina and Virginia. I'm the oldest of six siblings. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing, play piano, play games, and spend time with my family. I'm a girly-girl- I love pink, flowers, and anything that's stereo-typically categorized as being a girl. I also love being a missionary. I'm serving in the Canada Edmonton Mission for 18 months. I love seeing the light and joy that it brings into people's lives and being able to share the experiences with others of how it's made a major difference in my life. I know that the only way I've gotten through the trials in my life is because of the gospel. It brings me great joy even on the darkest of days. Christ and my Heavenly Father mean everything to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel. I see the joy it brings me, my family, my friends, and the leaders of our church. I know that our principles and teachings are true. I know that Christ lives. I know that I have a loving Father in Heaven. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and I love reading the scriptures. My testimony grows stronger and stronger all the time and it brings me comfort, strength, and happiness.

How I live my faith

I live every day trying to do what's right. I'm not perfect, but I do try to give my best efforts and continually improve. I hope that by the way I live, I'll be a blessing in the lives of others. I want to be the Lord's hands- answering others' prayers by doing what the Savior would do Himself, if He were here. By reading the scriptures, praying, and going to Church, I involve Christ in my life every day.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

The members of our church love to serve. We serve members and nonmembers (non-Mormons) all the same. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Jessica Holbrook
Everything around us denotes that there is a God. I look at people, nature, music, art, laughter, joy, and all of the wonderful things that produce happiness, and KNOW with all my heart that there is a God. I know that he blesses us- the more I pay attention to the miracles that happen in my life, the more I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
