Hi I'm Rochelle

I'm a nurse, yet i am preparing to go to a full-time mission now... I'm a Mormon :)

About Me

I am a convert of the church since 2012, like for 18 months now. I am now preparing to leave and go to a mission next month in Bicol Region! For 18 months as well :) I am a simple and quiet girl but I always wanted to share my smiles and beliefs that truly transformed me to a different me today, praying that others too will find the meaning of true happiness and purpose of life here and life to come!

Why I am a Mormon

"Mormon" is actually a name given to us by most people because of this book that we boldly believed to be a word of God, that is the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. So, I prefer most to refer my religion as a Latter-Day Saint. I am, because I know that this is what God wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I pray as often as I could. That's how I feel closer to God our Father and feel perfectly loved and known. I believe we have a living prophet today, and He gives me directions that I need and the faith I could only fully exercise through this church, so as you..

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Rochelle
We believe that God is the creator of the earth and of all mankind. Thus, everything we have now is all His not ours, even the air we breathe or the foods we eat. Paying 10% from all our income gives us the opportunity to enjoy more of these blessings and brings us closer to our Heavenly Father by exercising faith and trust in Him. I, myself, am a living testimony of obeying this commandment. Honestly, I only receive small income but I cannot rob Him from His money, so I zealously give it back to Him and He gives me enough of all that I need and enough to firmly say God is true to His promises to us.
