Hi I'm Glenda

I'm from the Philippines. I am a full-time missionary in Manchester, England. I'm a mormon!

About Me

I am an out going person. I love travelling and outdoor activities. I love being with my friends as well as with my family. I love meeting new people, eating foods, watching movies, reading books and attend church activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I was from a different religion before and i didn't go to church on a regular basis. I only pray before i sleep. When I was in college, one of my classmate now my best friend testified about her church. I was a bit curious that time. And felt that i needed to know more about it. Then I met a few friends from my home town and they invited me to join an activity. One of them invited me to attend a Sunday service. To make the long story short, i was taught by the missionary and eventually got baptised. Why I decided to be baptised? Because I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ lives. I've never felt more close to Them than before. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of of God and that The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I've read it and the spirit testify of its truthfulness. And I testify that if you will read it, you will get the answer to every questions that you have and you will feel more close to the Lord.

How I live my faith

I was recently called as a Ward Relief Society President and it was really a great privilege to serve the sisters in the ward. Including them in my prayer and reaching out to them helps me grow spiritually and temporally. I serve as a Relief Society Teacher as well. And it is really fun to teach. Because through that calling i was able to humble myself and asks guidance from our Father in Heaven to have the spirit to be with me while teaching and to know what are the things that they needed to hear.
