Hi I'm Kaylene

I'm a Freshman in College in the music program. The sky is my favorite. I like playing sports. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play the piano, and I am attending college to obtain a degree in Piano Performance. I have a fairly large family and I love them super much! I also love to play soccer, hike, and look at the sky.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the one thing that has given me true happiness in my life. I grew up in the church, and I have a wonderful and loving family. But raised in the church or not, everyone needs to undergo their own personal conversion. My testimony has grown gradually throughout the years, but specifically I remember the time when I read the entire Book of Mormon one summer when I was 14. I got down on my knees and prayed to know the truth. I felt such a strong and wonderful feeling in my heart. Since then I pray to God and read the scriptures every day so I can keep having that feeling. I know that God lives and loves each one of His children. He answers every prayer. There is a plan and purpose for for every person in this life. This gospel means so much to me because I know who I am. I am a daughter of God. He loves me and I love Him. I know where I came from, why I'm here, and where I'm going. If I remain faithful and good in this life, then one day I can return to live with God again. I love this church and this gospel so very much. I have never felt any happiness close to the happiness I feel when I immerse myself in the gospel. I'm especially grateful for the Savior Jesus Christ. Because of Him I can be clean, forgiven, and be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I am active in the Institute program. I love going going to classes, attending devotionals, activities, and participating in its choir and dance groups. I am also a family history consultant, so I teach people how to use technology to learn more about their ancestors and how to complete temple work for them.
