Hi I'm Logan

I love music, I love the mountains, I love tennis, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up playing the piano and during Junior High school began singing as well. I have been singing ever since and have participated in multiple competitions and been fairly successful. I have also played tennis for almost eight years now. I am the youngest in my family out of four children, My older siblings are all fantastic and my parents are amazing. I am currently serving my mission in the Philippines, and when I return I will attend Brigham Young University, most likely pursuing engineering, but hey we will see how that works out!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member since birth and despite growing up in this religion, I have come to realize the amazing truth that it offers. Just because I was following my parent's religion did not mean I did not seek out the truth for myself. I did find it here and I know that this is the restored church of Christ. His influence reaches me even in these modern days. I follow this Gospel because I feel for myself with grand assurance that God speaks to men this day and I have felt His influence, and I will obey the commandments He has given to us. God lives, Christ lives, and I will live to become like them.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings and have done so ever since I was little. I participate in multiple service projects around my neighborhood. I live worthy to use the priesthood power of God and attend the Temple. I currently have a calling to play the piano and occasionally the organ in regular Sunday meetings. I am currently preparing to depart on a full time mission.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

True we have always had the Bible. However, as stated in that very Bible, the people of the world fell away from the truth and the authority to act in God's name was removed. The restoration was needed to restore God's authority back on the earth. This is often referred to as the Priesthood. The Priesthood is a portion of God's power that He lets us use to further His work and spread joy. The Bible is the word of God, as far as it is translated correctly. Also, would it not make sense that God continues to give us guidance and direction? He loves us so greatly, yet people claim He only spoke to people and gave scripture in the Old Testament times. This is not so. God has given a new book of scripture known as The Book of Mormon. This book does not counter or negate the Bible, but it complements it. When you study both together, you can receive more inspiration and revelation. The authority of God needed to be restored so He could continue to give His guidance unto us is a more direct way. He is after all, our Father in Heaven and wants us to become the best we can. Show more Show less
