Hi I'm Carole

I'm a mother of 7, grandmother of 12 who loves to write poetry, short stories, and plays, and family history, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother and grandmother. I'm a writer who loves music, movies, dancing, and family history research.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was first approached by the missionaries I was open to hearing them because I knew of the Church through my interest in the singing group The Osmonds. However, the more the missionaries taught the more sense the things they said made. Everything just felt right, was logical. As I read the Book of Mormon and accepted Moroni's challenge to "ask " if it was true I felt the sweetest peace. I knew in my heart the Book of Mormon and all the missionaries taught was true. Since then, there have been bumps along the way here and there, but my testimony has grown stronger as the years have past and the everyday trials and tribulations of this life simply serve to strengthen it even more. I testify that this is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth today, that Joseph Smith was indeed a Prophet of God and that Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet of God for this world today. Last and best of all I Testify that Jesus lives and loves us all no matter our trials or shortcomings. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have taught both children and adult Sunday school classes in the past. I am now a ward missionary and family history consultant. I love my frequent Temple visits. I also enjoy visiting the sisters on my visiting teaching list.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Our spirit are eternal, we lived with Heavenly Father before we came here, and we will return to Him after death if we prove ourselves worthy to do so. This life is a testing ground, it's like we went away to school to learn all we needed to know to go home and live with Heavenly Father and Jesus forever. Death is just the doorway that leads us back home. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

God's handiwork is all around us. This earth, the stars, the plants, and animals, and we ourselves. The fact that there is so much variety and color and beauty in our world is proof of God's love for us. Think about it, He could have made everything black and white, and all people the same, but He gave us so much variety to choose from to make all His children happy. Show more Show less
