Hi I'm Stuart Gagnon

I love to do anything athletic. I Love Classical Choral. I love to sing Barbershop. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 9 members total in my family. 3 siblings older than me and three younger and my parents. But only 8 of us are on this earth. My sister just older than me passed away when I was real young. I still sense the gap between my older siblings and me but I know I can see her and cherish her company again in the Celestial Kingdom. I love to do all things athletic and physically challenging. I love basketball. I can play for hours and days on end and never get tired. I constantly am improving my skills in this sport. also i love to watch it. I sing for fun and listen for enjoyment. Barbershop is a passion of mine. I sang in a quartet semi-professionally for three and half years. Also I enjoy any moment I can bust some chords with friends or new people. I love to design and build cities whether its on paper or in the classic game of Sim City 4. Despite the music and athletics I always had a bit of time to burn playing the video games with my friends. Despite the closeness in age of my younger brother and I, we were the best of friends. We did everything together, from dance to parties to sports and we even sang in the same quartet heretofor mentioned.

Why I am a Mormon

I always dreamed of a life where I would leave home and go party and live a life of that form of happiness. I desired nothing to do with this gospel. I would always be doing stuff that was not right. I found life to be fun when I was depressed. At a point in my life I just realized I was not truly happy and found that I actually love to smile and pick out the happiness of small things. I focused on that, going about life just smiling and being happy. I then came across the idea that The Gospel of Jesus Christ seems to make people happy. So I tried it out. I found that nothing brings more happiness to my life than the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I had done many wretched things in my past but found a way through The Atonement of Jesus Christ to heal from past mistakes. I am a Mormon because of the Joy one can receive from being such.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. I follow the standards that have been set and try by showing this to demonstrate to people how much I care. When friends come up to me and have questions or concerns about life I most often refer to the scriptures for guidance as to what I can say to help them. I look for opportunities to share insights that i received from my personal studies that morning. I am currently serving a full time 2 year mission. I have put my schooling, dating, career on hold for two years to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone I come in contact with. When I see someone who may need help I remember it is part of being a Disciple of Jesus Christ to offer assistance and help my fellow man. I find so much joy in doing this. I'm not afraid to share what I believe, I know it is true and I will share at every opportunity.
