Hi I'm Jesse

I grew up in the beautiful Southern California. I attend Brigham Young University. Im a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University and am currently serving a mission in Guatemala. I love adventuring by hiking, spontaneous trips, water sports, and just about anything outdoors. I am currently majoring in Sociology with a minor in Non-profit management and hope to work with non-profits in the future. When I was at one of my lowest times, a very close friend of mine needed me so I put away my feelings and helped her and realized that doing service makes me happy no matter how I am feeling. Because of this experience I decided that I wanted to devote my entire life to non-profits through my profession. I am excited to begin my service through my mission and I can't wait to return and see what else I can do!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this gospel creates a happiness that I can never receive from any worldly thing. I know that through this gospel we can be with our families for eternity and that this is the true restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father saved this gospel for this day for us and it is our opportunity to share this gospel with the world and help others find the happiness that this gospel offers. I know that we have a true prophet on the earth today and I know that Joseph Smith restored the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have lived in my same ward for about 13 years and have seen how amazing a ward family truly is. We all support each other and create a great community that I can rely on. I have had many callings throughout my time such as being a president in my class, serving a stake calling planning youth activities, and serving as a family home evening leader in my student ward.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that families last for eternity and not just for our time on earth. Show more Show less
