Hi I'm Haylee

I grew up under the Arizona sun. I've played sports my whole life and now I have the privilege to coach. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love my family, purple skittles, and spending time in the mountains. I am an animal enthusiast and a volleyball coach. I love being a daughter, sister, an aunt, friend, and teacher. The relationships I build with other people mean the most to me. Being around people and having a good time makes me happy!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 8 years old I became a mormon. I was baptized because my parents and family were. Today, at 24 years old, I am not a mormon just because my parents and family are. I am a mormon because I want to be a mormon, and for many other reasons. Growing up I attended church and learned about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I had always been challenged and encouraged to find out for myself what I believed. When I was about 14 years old I decided I would find out for myself. I wanted to have a personal witness and a strong knowledge of what it meant to be a mormon, after-all, I was one! I prayed to know if the church was true. I had a very sacred experience where I knew the church was true. That feeling was all I needed. I am a mormon because I have received an answer for myself that it is right. Throughout the years I have attened many wards. I have gone off to college. I have moved numerous times and lived in 3 states over the past 3 years. Everywhere I go I am able to attend church. I always get the same feeling there no matter what part of the world I am in. I feel peace, goodness, and love. I feel an outreach from ward members and a sense of belonging. I am a mormon because it makes me happy. I have always wanted to have children. I can remember being very small and picking out names for my future children. The church teaches that families are forever. I have a personal testinmony of this. I know that I can be with my family forever. I am a mormon because I want an eternal family. There are many more reasons of why I am a mormon. I think the most important one is that it is something that is apart of me. Through living my beliefs, it has made me who I am. It is very close to my heart and something that makes me want to be better, to be more than I am. It gives me guidance, strength, and brings me great joy. I cannot imagine my life without my faith. I know it, I live it, I love it!

How I live my faith

Every month I try to visit with members of my ward. We talk and share a spiritual message. This helps me to feel closer to my ward family and gives me the opportunity to serve. I also teach on Sundays at church. We cover different topics and I enjoy learning more and sharing it with the ward members.
