Hi I'm Anne

I live in Delaware, study nursing at BYU-I, love music, and will serve a mission in Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 7, and I love my crazy family. I was born and raised in Delaware, and a member of the church. I go to school at BYU-I, and hope to one day be a pediatric nurse. I love everything about music, play a couple instruments, and my primary hobby is definitely singing. I also love to cook and do color guard. I am about to leave for a mission in Mexico. Meanwhile I work at an Italian restaurant and there's nothing more I love than game nights with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love everything about this gospel. Sure, I was born into it and was raised going every Sunday, but over time I've gained my own testimony. Because of Christ's atonement, I can go through life each day a better person than the day before. I can repent, make come closer to Him, and be happier because of it.The church gives me hope for the future, knowing that families are forever through His great plan of happiness for us, and knowing that I will be able to return to Heavenly Father one day. On this earth, there is nothing like being able to feel the Holy spirit. It makes a complete difference in my day. The spirit has testified to me that this gospel is true, and now I am ready to go out into the world and testify of it myself. I have always loved what the church teaches about love, forgiveness, and hope. I have had proof in my life that God does everything out of love, is merciful, and only wants the best for us. I am a Mormon because being a member of His church gives me such happiness in life that I would not be able to find anywhere else. I know that this church is true, that the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today. I know that through the atonement and becoming like Christ, not only will we live a better life, but we can return to Him, which is the greatest gift of all.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith not only in church, but in almost every aspect of my life. I participate on the activities committee and plan weekly gatherings for my Young Single Adult branch. I also teach lessons in Sunday school. Many of my closest friends also go to church with me, as we like to all hang out several times each week. I enjoy being in such a group that has consistent morals and standards with the church, yet can still have a great time. I do my best to read the scriptures daily, pray often, go to all of my church meetings each week, and keep the commandments in my regular life. I try to have integrity at work. I strive to be a good example to others, so that others, through me, can feel His light and love. Right now, as I prepare for the upcoming missionary work, I have been studying other church-centered books as well, and spiritually preparing myself to enter the temple.
