Hi I'm Kim

I grew up in Utah. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful family who loves to laugh and have fun. I want to live my life with joy. I am a dancer and former cheerleader. I'm a DIY kind of person. If something breaks, I usually try to fix it myself. I love to craft especially sewing, scrapbooking, and card making. After spending a bunch of money on a photographer, I decided to invest in a good camera and now I take our family photos myself. I have a wonderful husband and children and I'm a mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family. When I was a teen I started to fall away from the church and became inactive until I was 29. My husband, who was not a member of the church, and I knew something was missing in our lives. We decided to go to church and went to many different churches. When we attended an LDS church it just felt right so we continued to attend. I knew in my heart that the LDS church was Jesus Christ's true church. I felt the spirit witness to me that I was where I was suppose to be. I wanted to learn everything about the gospel that I had missed when I left the church. My husband investigated the church for a year and also received a witness that it was true. He was baptized, and a year later we were sealed for time and eternity. We have TRUE joy in our lives because we follow the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I currently have a calling (assignment) in my church to teach the adult Sunday School class. I was very intimidated and nervous when they asked me to take on this responsibility. I am much more comfortable now. This calling has been a true blessing because I've learned so much. It has given me a reason to study the scriptures deeply and grow closer to my Heavenly Father. I have had many callings in the church and have loved every one of them. They have all given me the opportunity to serve others which is what Jesus Christ wants us to do.
