Hi I'm Ben

I'm half Japanese, and love to hang out with my friends and family. I am also a short track speed skater. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Ben and I am 19 years old. I live in a household of 4, with one sister. I have a dog and a cat who I love. I am half Japanese because my mom is from Japan. Something unique about me is that one of my hobbies is to Short Track Speed Skate. I do it for fun but am also serious in it. I have a dream that I could make it to the Olympics one day. If you want to know something about me it's that I love sports! All kinds too, it can be anything from Ping Pong to Football.

Why I am a Mormon

Why do I choose to be a Mormon? Life can be challenging, and very misleading. I have chosen to keep the commandments of the church to the best of my ability, to keep me on a narrow path that leads me to eternal happiness. The gospel can help lead you in times of need, where nothing makes sense. You will start to feel a love from the Savior, and likewise you will learn to love him. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet leading us today. Therefore, everyone that has lead the church before him must be true also. I testify that if you pick up a Book of Mormon and read it, and pray to know that these things are true, you will be rewarded with the companionship of the Lord.

How I live my faith

I strive to be the best person I can be and show it through the way that I live. I try to follow Christ's example by following the commandments and sharing this amazing gospel with others! I am currently serving in the Japan Sapporo Mission.
