Hi I'm Brockston King

I love learning. I love ballroom and clogging. I'm studying to be a quantum optomechanist. I am a mormon!

About Me

I'd throw out where I'm from, except I wouldn't really know what to say! I've moved somewhere around 30 times all over the United States, and I've had a blast with it. I will say, however, that Idaho and Utah are some of my favorite places to live (I've also lived there the longest, so I guess that could be why). I've been homeschooled the majority of my life, although I have been enrolled part time and full time in my local high school at times. I love ballroom dancing, clogging, folk dance, and being active! I love acting and singing. I am also studying to be a quantum optomechanist. At least I will be in a few years or so! Currently I am serving in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Mission, where I hope in some small way to help others feel the joy and happiness that comes from the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love playing instruments, primarily the piano, guitar, and violin, although I also dabble in the ukulele and dulcimer. There is a power inherent in music that can touch the deepest parts of our souls, for good or for bad. I love my country and have a deep respect for the great, inspired, God-fearing men who founded it. The constitution of the United States and the Decleration of Independence are two of the most important, inspired documents to come before the restoration of the gospel. I do my best to protect the God given freedoms therein, especially that of religious freedom.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the effect of the gospel not only in my life, but also in the lives of others. Not to mention the fact that when I follow God's commandments, I am happy! It brings me great joy to know that my Savior Jesus Christ loved me enough to sacrifice His life for me, so that I could someday return to our Father in Heaven. I know that He did the same for you. The principles in the gospel of Jesus Christ lead us back to Him. This is His true church on the earth, and I know that with all my heart. I know that we can all come back to Him through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon! I know it. I live it. I love it!

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love to serve anyone and everyone that I can, because I know that that is what Christ would do if he were there. As I mentioned, I also play a lot of instruments. Playing hymns and music that I would be comfortable playing if my Savior was there has been a great peace in my life. I love to delve into the scriptures. The answers to so many questions are contained therein, from a spiritual standpoint as well as from a scientific standpoint. They have been invaluable in my quest to learn about the world around me. Above all, I love my Father in Heaven and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I try to live my life in a way that they would be pleased with. Being a Mormon has been the greatest blessing in my life that I could ever ask for.
