Hi I'm Rachelle

I'm a mother of three and volunteer at the elementary school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy teaching, crafting, home improvement, reading, music, and theater. I love to ballroom dance with my husband. Running in the mornings keeps me sane with my busy schedule raising and teaching three kids in elementary and middle school. I graduated in elementary education and hope to teach again as my kids grow older.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the church. However, I have remained a member because as I grow older and experience life, I find that my experiences are congruent with what I have been taught at church and in the scriptures about Jesus Christ and His gospel. New members might discover that the truths they learn in His church, ring true to what they have already experienced or that it answers questions they have had. I had the opposite experience. I received the truth and information first. Then, I had to go find the questions by experiencing life. My life's experiences, along with feelings I have received from the Holy Spirit as I have lived by the principles I was taught, have verified to me that the gospel is indeed true.

How I live my faith

I am currently a den leader for the eight-year-old cub scouts. We've built birdhouses, fished, cooked outdoors, planted a butterfly garden, explored our world, and much more. I also play the piano for the women's meeting each Sunday and trade-off playing for the choir.
