Hi I'm Nathan Bryant

I'm your friendly neighborhood computer repair guy, I love to take photos, and I am a Mormon

About Me

My interests include books, movies, family and friends. I love to read, especially in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. I also enjoy a lot of other genres authors, such as Mark Twain, Joseph Heller, and Agatha Christie. I love spending time with my family, and it's even better when we are spending time together at Lake Powell, Zions National Park, or any number of other awesome vacation spots. My friends and I love spending time together playing video games, camping, and just hanging out. I think what I will end up doing is working with computers, with a possibility of going into Network Administration. That is to be decided after I return from my mission. I also have a very strong love for photography. I love taking pictures, and I love photographing almost anything. It gives me a nice creative outlet and a "project" to work on when I need something to do. I hope to turn this interest into something more someday, although I am not sure how I will do it. I am currently serving a mission for the church in Pennsylvania and I love every minute of it. Teaching the Gospel and sharing it with those who want to know about it brings me the greatest joy I think i have ever felt in my life. My favorite thing to share with people is the Plan of Salvation. That is the key to unlocking the mysteries of life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true. Through my life experiences I have learned that this gospel is the one that I want to be a part of. I love this gospel and its leaders, and I want to show other people how good it is as well. I hope to be an example to those I love by living the standards set forth by Christ through the leaders of the Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a mission for the church in Pennsylvania. I love serving others in any way I can. It makes me happy to help others feel loved. I try my best to follow the guidance of the Holy Ghost as I go through each day. Life is full of difficulties, challenges, and temptations. I know I can pull through any circumstance I go through if I put my faith in Christ.

Are Mormons Christians?

Nathan Bryant
Of course we are! The name of our church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!" Christ is the central part to our religion. We follow his teachings and keep his commandments. The Book of Mormon, which we use alongside the bible is another testament of Jesus Christ. He is the keystone of our religion, and we recognize Him as the leader of our church. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Nathan Bryant
Faith is an action word. If you have faith in something you want to support that faith. as members of the Church, our faith is in Jesus Christ. We want to increase our faith continually and we do that by keeping his commandments. We study, pray, and do all we can to be more like Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Nathan Bryant
By the grace of God we are saved. Grace is the enabling power of the atonement. As we turn towards Christ have faith in him (and because of that faith DO something about it), and repent, we are helped, and eventually saved, by His grace. I love how President Uchtdorf put it in the April 2015 General Conference in a talk called The Gift of Grace: "If grace is a gift of God, why then is obedience to God’s commandments so important? Why bother with God’s commandments—or repentance, for that matter? Why not just admit we’re sinful and let God save us? Or, to put the question in Paul’s words, “Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?” Paul’s answer is simple and clear: “God forbid.” Brothers and sisters, we obey the commandments of God—out of love for Him!" We obey because we love Him. It's that simple. Grace has played a huge part in my life. I will forever be grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who wants me to make it back to live with him. and it is only by his grace that we are able to do so. Show more Show less
