Hi I'm Christian Wendelboe

Im a Provo boy who is now currently serving a full time mission in the Russia, Novosibirsk Mission.

About Me

Im someone who loves being outdoors. Whether its camping, sports, or just going out for a walk, I love being out to witness all the beauty that this world holds. I am currently serving a mission in Russia. After my mission I intend to attend college at BYU. One of my favorite things to do is sports. I have grown up playing all types of sports, but my favorite is football. I love my friends so much, and enjoy just talking and going on adventures with them. But above all I love my family, because i know that they are mine for eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, and I come from a long line of others who were raised in the church. I never knew anything else until i started to grow up and get a little older. My sophomore year of high school is when i really started questioning whether or not this church was true. I knew I was growing up, and I had to find out for myself whether or not Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and if The Book of Mormon is true. After praying about it with a real desire to know if these things were true, I was overcome with peace, and happiness. This was the answer to my prayers I was waiting for. I had finally found out for myself if the church was true. Ever since then, I now know without a doubt that this is church is true, and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet who restored this church to its current form today.

How I live my faith

Our ward is like a family. We all have our different responsibilities that make our ward function. I am currently still a youth so my calling has to do with help planing and organizing upcoming activities or lessons for the rest of the youth to participate in. I am also involved with home teaching. My dad and I are companions, and have 3 families that we visit once a month. Our goal is to make sure they are doing ok, and see if they need anything. We end each visit in a spiritual thought, and prayer. I love being able to fulfill my ward responsibilities. Whenever I do, I feel good and makes me feel closer with my ward family.

Are Mormons Christians?

Christian Wendelboe
Yes we are. We believe in Jesus Christ, and owe everything to him. It is because of him that we are all where we are today. Without him, and his earthly ministry we would not have agency. We pay the most respect to Christ and his atoning sacrifice by keeping his commandments. Show more Show less
