Hi I'm Brandon

I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ. I'm a Missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm proudly Mormon. I’m currently serving as a missionary for the church and I'm loving it! I like to study different languages, read a good exiting book, dance, play sports, do original activities, learn from every experience and share the Gospel! I'm interested in acquiring knowledge and learning from sciences and technology, I'm currently interested in studying a major in Civil Engineering after my mission. I always strive to think, say and act as Jesus Christ would!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for several reasons but there are 3 main ones.1. I know that this is the church of Jesus Christ and that He is the one on the head of the church 2. I know that Joseph Smith, as every prophet before and after him, is a true prophet of God and 3. I have no doubt in my mind that the Book of Mormon is true just as the Bible and that it testifies of the same Son of the living God the Bible speaks of. I came to know this trough the Power of the Holy Ghost and you can do to! I may have been born inside the church, but there was a process of conversion involved that made me know for Myself and not from others that this church was where God wanted me to be. I have a relationship with my Heavenly Father and I can say that I know my Savior. My purpose in life is known to me, God's expectations are defined and my divine potential is clear. There is a never-ending increase of peace from knowing that I'm where I'm supposed to be and that my family can be together forever. I know that the Lord has a plan for all of us and that we are not alone in this life, that in fact we have a Heavenly Father that worries about us and helps us in our trails and that everyone that comes to learn about this, the same Gospel that Jesus Christ taught, will find true and everlasting joy and happiness as they increase in the Knowledge of a Loving Heavenly Father. I invite you to ''Prove all things'' and to ''hold fast to that which is good'' (1 Thessalonians 5:21) by learning more about this divine message!

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a missionary in the U.S., I share the Gospel that has brought peace to my family's life in a full-time voluntary calling. Before my mission I loved to go with missionaries and teach others, and now as one of them I have the opportunity to help others come unto Christ. This is an important responsibility that helps me bless others while learning from spiritual life-changing experiences! As missionaries we exercise every day, we have at least a couple hours of studies where we read not only the Bible but the Book of Mormon and we go out for more than 10 hours to share the Gospel with others! One of the essential promises we invite people to do with God is Baptism, a saving ordinance or a sacred rite and ceremony that brings blessings from heaven. I invite you to learn more about the special promise of baptism and how it will Completely change your life!

What is faith?

Faith is a strong belief that moves us to action, a hope and evidence (Alma 32:21, Hebrews 11:1) for things that are not seen but are true, that belief should be centered in Jesus Christ for it to grant us salvation. In order to have Faith in Jesus Christ we first need to have a correct understanding of Him, including His character, teachings, attributes, purpose etc. For someone to have Faith he or she needs to follow Jesus Christ's perfect example through action or works making Faith to be ''alive'' or not dead (James 2:17). The works of Faith include relying completely on Christ and trusting Him and his attributes. Faith motivates us to be obedient, repent of our mistakes and dedicate service to Him and others. Faith is a principle of power, God works by power, but His power is normally exercised in response of Faith, in other words, He works according to our Faith. Fear and Doubt oppose Faith. With Faith we can accomplish the will of the Lord, a lot of times bringing miracles to pass. Faith helps us overcome temptation. Even when the future seems uncertain or when we do not understand all things Faith in Christ can give us peace. Show more Show less
