Hi I'm Tyler

I am a medical student. Twin. Husband. Father. Mormon.

About Me

My wife, son and I are off to Texas for medical school. Can't wait to see what awaits us there. I like listening to jazz music, playing the cello, playing football, and spending my free hours in the university library.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of the church because of the way that I felt as I lived by its teachings. The teachings are those taught by Christ Himself. Through obedience to the commandments we have the companionship of His Spirit which helps comfort, console, guide, and uplift us. The constant guidance from my Heavenly Father is one of the main reasons that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My faith is an everyday thing. To maintain my faith I pray, study the scriptures, and make a conscious effort to make myself a better person. Sometimes it is not easy to be a man of faith, but I feel like it is worth it. I feel true joy in seeing myself and others come unto Christ. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I look after all of the male members of our congregation. I plan activities, monitor gospel instruction, delegate responsibilities, and most importantly, serve them.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

The way to know if Mormonism is true is to ask God himself through prayer. It is only through Him that we can be sure that we are receiving the truth. He will answer us through His spirit in way that is special to each one of us. It could be an overwhelming feeling of peace, love, warmth, joy, or faith. Pray to be able to recognize the answer when it comes. Show more Show less
