Hi I'm Christopher

I was born in England, but moved with my family to the Netherlands when I was five years old.

About Me

For many years I have worked in the Tourisme & Hospitality trades, and it is partly due to these jobs that I have seen quite a few interesting places in Europe, such as Monaco, France, Germany, Luxembourg and many others. Currently I am involved in various tourism related jobs, such as working as a cityguide in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I am a "Native Speaker" in the English & Dutch languages. In december 2012 I published my first book, called "De Kerk van Jezus Christus", zijn leer hersteld! It is a Dutch language concordance, and gives a clear and detailed view on many LDS Doctrines, and offers many Biblical and LDS scripture references to back them up. (ISBN: 9789-426-065-529) I love reading & good music, but also like to play some occasional squash games. Going to see great musicians such as Peter Gabriel, Paul Simon, Elvis Costello and many others is one of my other hobbies.

Why I am a Mormon

For me a religion encompasses more than just faith, as it is also about logic, knowledge, clarity and understanding. I have truly found all of the afore mentioned things within the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as set forth within the teachings and doctrines of: "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints". May you all search and find, as the truth is out there!

How I live my faith

I am an active church member, and from April 1992 through May 1994 I served an LDS Church mission in the Birmingham area of Great Britain. (England Birmingham Mission) Currently I am responsible for the Sundayschool in the Amsterdam ward, the Netherlands. Helping others gain more understanding, clarity and knowledge of Gods plans is a fulfilling calling, and I hope that I can offer much to others in the comming years. Within this calling I am gaining much more understanding of Gods teachings myself, and that is something I am grateful for.
