Hi I'm Chelle

I'm a nurse. I'm a writer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent convert to the church and have loved every minute of it! Much of my free time, the little there is right now, is spent reading and writing. I love Eastern European Literature, particularly the classics and I spend a lot of my free time reading. I also love to write and one of my dreams is to write a novel. Another of my dreams is to be an acrobat in Cirque Du Soleil!

Why I am a Mormon

I had been searching for the true church for many years and now that I have found it - I have never been happier! Since I was a teenager, I have been attended various churches - Catholic, Evangelical, Pentecostal - although always seemed to leave with more questions than before. I knew what I wanted - I wanted to feel the love that people talk about and I wanted to have a sense of purpose and a sense of community. Through being baptised into the church, I have come to know who I am in God. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and I know that I am saved and forgiven through the atonement of Jesus Christ. My testimony is strengthened with each day - and this is something I never believed would actually happen, yet I can testify that it is has. I am a Mormon, because it is the only church that makes sense. It hasn't given me a reason not to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I aim to show others that Christ lives and try and do this through everything I do and say. I try and read the Scriptures daily and have found this so helpful, especially when I have had a problem. I try and involve myself in all activities the church holds. The church has been a great way to meet people and I have learnt more about myself since attending, than I ever have before. The people I have met at church have helped make me feel comfortable in sharing my testimony and have helped me live my faith daily.
