Hi I'm Dylan Swenson

I was born into a military family. I am an Eagle Scout. I am a mormon.

About Me

I enjoy going mountain biking and hiking. I am an Eagle Scout. I plan on going into the Air Force in a couple years. I was in Air Force JROTC when I was in high school. I enjoy the little things in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have tried to say "there is no other beings out there. I'm by myself and that's all I have to rely on." I was dead wrong when I was saying that. I knew The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true, but I felt like I needed an answer/ vision to happen to me to fully know it was true. I received that answer while out on my mission. I didn't get a vision, or anything big. But I did get a feeling of someone saying "why do you need an answer when you already know it?" My sense of guilt overwhelmed me because I was denying Heavenly Father. I was denying him even though I knew he was really there. I know this church is true with all my heart and soul. I love this church and that because of it, my family can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in the Colorado Denver North Mission. I have helped lead young men back in my home ward.

What is being a Mormon like?

Dylan Swenson
Being a Mormon is just like being a non-Mormon. We have values that we live and keep, but other than that we are just normal people. You never know who could be Mormon until you ask. I enjoy being Mormon and not having people know that because I get to feel like I'm not being judged when/ if I mess up. My friends know that I have certain values and that I believe in Jesus Christ, but other than that they don't know much else. Show more Show less
