Hi I'm Henry

I live on a farm. I am homeschooled. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Since I live on a farm, I have many forms of outdoor exercise, including walking, running, cycling, and carrying heavy things long distances up hill. I also have lots of fun fixing various things such as small engines and our tractor. If I have time I also blacksmith and cast metal. I am currently writing a novel, and I greatly enjoy it.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents were raised as Christians, and they raised my siblings and I with strong Christian values. However, when I was about 6 years old, they found the church we were currently attending to be drifting from what they considered to be true. They stopped attending, and started looking for a church that they felt comfortable raising us in. For awhile they went to an evangelical "Mega-church", but they soon realized that it was not what they were looking for. My older brother was invited to attend cub-scouts at the LDS church, and we started attending there. After five years of attend this church, we were baptized and confirmed, and have been happy with it ever since. For my part, I am a Mormon because I know that this church is the restored church of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is the most correct of any book ever written. I know that it is through the Atonement of Jesus Christ that all mankind may be saved. I would not trade this knowledge for any worldly pleasure, and I hope to share it with others.

How I live my faith

I serve in my church by going with my father to fellowship certain families in our congregation and help them in any way we can. I also help to teach a Sunday school class of 10 and 11 year-olds.
