Hi I'm Leah

I love creating music & art! I love adventure! I have been called to serve as a missionary in Tahiti! I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am from a family of 7! I learnt french all through school and am about to put my skills to use in the Tahiti mission! I'm so excited to learn about another culture and to serve the people there! I love music! Dancing to music, listening to music and creating music! It makes me so happy! I play piano by ear and love singing and writing my own songs. I love art! I especially love drawing people! Whenever I'm bored and hungry I cook desserts. It's one of my hobbies. So is running! It's my favourite sport! Closely followed by swimming and cycling. I love adventure! I love camping and enjoy being in nature! My favourite place to be in the world is on top of a mountain! I could stay there all day! I love socialising and meeting new people! I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I love being a Mormon! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy! Living what I know brings me so much joy! Knowing that I am a daughter of God has changed the way I live! I love that I am constantly learning! I know that I can pray to a loving Heavenly Father for help whenever I'm struggling, and that he will answer me and provide comfort. I know that Heavenly Father is always watching over me and is concerned about each of his children. Knowing this brings me the courage and strength to face the world every day. I know that Jesus Christ lives! I know that families can be together forever! Heaven wouldn't be heaven without my family! I could go on and on about how much being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has blessed my life! I wouldn't be where I am without it! This life wasn't meant to be easy, but it was meant to be enjoyed! And being a Mormon brings me the greatest joy in life!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example of Jesus Christ. I do the little things. I go to church every Sunday, attend scripture study classes twice a week, and attend all church activities. I say my prayers and study the scriptures. I believe it's the simple things that make a difference in the world. A smile and small acts of service have the potential to make someones day. So I do my best to be a friend to everyone and to treat everyone as Christ would treat them. I was recently called to serve a mission in Tahiti. I am living my faith by leaving the comforts of my home for 18 months and and serving the people of Tahiti. The Gospel is the greatest blessing in my life, and it is the greatest gift I have to give. The knowledge I have will change their lives just as it has changed mine, for the better! :)
