Hi I'm Suzie

I grew up in Southern California. I love my family, music, art, and all things furry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom, a grandma, a wife to my high-school sweetheart, and a lover of animals. I love to dance, garden, make jewelry, and play the bass guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

Like many people, there have been times in my life when I have felt true despair--like things just couldn't get better. But being a Mormon has helped me develop my relationship with God,and I know that He loves and cares about ME and about every one of us. I know that He truly is our Heavenly Father, that He hears and answers our prayers, and that He heals us individually--physically, emotionally, and spiritually. His Son, Jesus Christ, atoned for each of us. The peace and joy I feel from being a member of the church has made me a truly happy person.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching the women in our church. I try to help them to recognize their self-worth as daughters of God, as well as the joy and strength we have as women in the Mormon church.

What is the Relief Society?

The Relief Society is the women's organization in the church. The purpose of the Relief Society is to how women in the church grow spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically. We have lessons each week that help us grow closer to God. We learn how to become better women, wives, and mothers. In the Relief Society, we have the opportunity to practice what we are taught by constantly giving of our time in service to others in our neighborhoods and community. Show more Show less
