Hi I'm Tim

I get to walk to work everyday. I have a slight addiction to audio books. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to my dearest friend and the middle child of nine kids (yes, my mother is amazing). I love learning about the world - its many cultures and countries and whats happening in the lives of other people near and far. I love the arts! In fact, I studied art for a while in college, but soon realized that my mother saying what amazing drawings I did does not a great artist make. Instead, I work for an investment company and enjoy helping people understand and make plans for their money.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon by loving parents and am a descendent of Mormon pioneers, but at some point everyone needs to develop a witness of their own convictions. Over time, as I have lived the gospel of Jesus Christ as best I can, I've learned that a life of happiness and peace is one where His gospel is lived. It doesn't mean that we're perfect, but that we are trying. The teachings in Christ's church have truly helped me to be a better person.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon gives me so many opportunities to serve others and bring a bit of light into their lives. I love this about my church. Every time I show up there is a chance to serve or help another. As I go about my busy work day and the other facets of life, God continues to show me opportunities to be a friend to another - sometimes simply smiling at a stranger. Being Mormon to me means becoming more like my Savior Jesus Christ, and that is everything to me.
