Hi I'm Janet

I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother. My kids all have autism. I was a full-time student, majoring in psychology, until I became too ill to attend class. My husband is going to school. He is a programmer. We all love computer games, good food, and animals.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that Heavenly Father has a plan of salvation for all of us. Families are a big part of God's plan of happiness. He loves us so dearly, He gave his only begotten Son to suffer for our salvation. I have read The Book of Mormon and prayed for God to let me know that it is truly a divinely inspired work. The answer could not have been more clear. I urge anyone reading this to ask of God regarding the truth of His Church. He will answer you, because we are all his sons and daughters. He loves us all more than we can possibly grasp.

How I live my faith

I am an indexer of old records containing names. These are held in a database that allows other Mormons to look up their ancestors. I also have been blessed to serve as an arbitrator of these records. I am our ward's historian as well. Every year, a report is made of all the activities and events - including photos as available. Some day I hope our grandchildren can look up these reports and find out all the good things their grandparents were a part of and feel the connection to us.
