Hi I'm Naomi

I am a careworker, mother and wife. I am a mormon.

About Me

Hobbies and interests? I work part-time and raise two young boys. I like craft type activities but currently have little time for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon household, so some parts of the gospel I had a testimony of at a young age. As I grew older and learnt much more about the world, more parts of it were confirmed as truth to me. I haven't had anything particularly extraordinary happen, just a quiet, continual knowledge.

How I live my faith

I am a Relief Society teacher, I teach one lesson a month to the women's class. I am currently working on Family Home Evenings, a once a week night where we share a (very) simple and (VERY) short lesson with our boys on basic things like prayer, saying sorry, or "I am a child of God"; then we colour or play a game and have a treat to eat. My evenings off change every week, so this is a bit harder to organise.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

I care for women and men who need help and medical interventions to live well day to day. Death and dying is on the minds of some of them, usually it is on the minds of their relatives and friends more. Some of those I care for have lived hard lives, and there are others out there who have lived horrible, difficult lives. This life is not all there is, it is a short time that transitions, rather than coming to an end. Still it is hard not to miss loved ones we can't see everyday, but comforting to know we will see them again. Show more Show less
