Hi I'm Adam

Howdy I grew up in Utah and now live in Oregon. I am the father of 4 kids

About Me

I like working with wood and doing modeling projects. I love rock climbing and hiking. I have completed my Education through a MBA with IT emphasis.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to accept there is a God who loves everyone and arguing which Faith was right, seems one sided. I decided that our heavenly Father would not only be able to guide me in Life; but also would be pleased with the decision. I thought that meant I would be endlessly blessed if I made the right choice. I realize now I am stronger for having become a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. There is suffering and trials in Life But knowing I am communicating with Heaven and that he is pleased with my life brings me greater peace than the having endless blessings. It seems to me to be as Paul taught in Romans 5:3-5 the experience of faith through trials and seeing the hand of God in them has brought me joy.

How I live my faith

I work with youth ages 13-14. We discuss the Savior and what he has done for us individually. It is important to have a meaningful relationship with our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. So I strive to Talk of Christ and remember Him in everything I do.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Adam
No but I consider him a good friend. it is hard to understand how difficult it is to stay strong with what you believe until you have felt others intense dislike for you and attempts to sway your opinion. Joesph smith said he would have difficultly believing himself if it hadn't happened to him. The Lord knows what he is doing with all of us I am impressed with what he did with Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith was unwavering in doing what the Lord required I believe we should try and be more like that. Show more Show less
