Hi I'm Declan

I am a student at Brigham Young University, but Texas is my home. I'm a computer nerd. I love data. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I got home from servinng a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 2016. I served in the Santiago Chile. I am Currently a student at BYU. I am studying information systems. I am a huge gaming nerd. I play all sorts of games on the computer. I have been married since May of 2017. My wife met while playing soccer at Southern Virginia University. Before my mission soccer was my life, but I haven't taken time to get back into it since being home. I love going to the gym and working my body to its limits.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my God. I believe that this is the church that he has established. I know that this church has the power and authority to grant me and everyone else the opportunity to return to him one day. This knowledge is what keeps me going throughout all of the trials I face regularly.

How I live my faith

I dedicated two years of my life serving God and teaching others about him and his plan for us. Since returning, I have had to find new ways to serve God and live the faith that I profess. I do my best every day to lighten the days of others. I deal with hundreds of people every day at work, and almost all of them are students just like I am. I may not know everything that they are going through but I usually understand a portion of it. My goal is to make someones burden lighter every day. I have my own struggles. Sometimes life isn't very easy or forgiving for me either. I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ that my burdens can be lightened. I also know that through the same atonement, others can have their burdens lightened as well. I do my best to help others remember that every day.
