Hi I'm Chase Tueller Nelson

I am the 5th missionary in my family, soon to serve in Manchester starting July 16th, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with sports all around me, and I love to play them. I believe sports can teach us many lessons similar to teachings in this gospel. I love spending time with my family, and I am a proud owner of 2 bullmastiffs and 1 english bulldog. I have one of the closest most caring relatives you will find. I am very proud of my ancestors, parents, and siblings. I love seminary and had the chance to serve on my school's seminary council. I'm 18 years old soon to head out on my mission. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was raised in a household that followed the prophet. I have heard the call to gain my own testimony and taken that challenge. I know for myself that this is Christ's only true church on earth today. I know that we have a living prophet of God here with us and he wants to teach us and help us come to know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I follow his teachings because they bring me a distinct type of happiness that I haven't found anywhere else, nor do I believe any worldly thing could provide this type of happiness. It is such a full, overwhelming feeling of peace and joy and it comes from God's approval of our efforts to follow him. How happy are you when you make your parents proud of you? That is the best way I can describe this happiness I testify of, only it's greater because you feel it in your whole body. That is my testimony and that is why I love this gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying it as much as I can, giving service, being loving, kind, and charitable. I volunteer at local christian organizations that care for the less fortunate by providing meals, monthly. I attend my meetings every week and fulfill my service responsibilities. I try to talk about Christ, and my beliefs whenever appropriate, because I know the joy and happiness it has brought me and God wants that same happiness for all of us. I served as the President of the Seminary my senior year of high school, and it has given me a great desire to study and learn more about my faith.
