Hi I'm Elisabeth

I love to play music and play sports.I live in Trieste Italy. I am a missionary in Italy. I am a mormon! :D

About Me

There are six people in my family and I am the second child out of four. I started attending college. I want to get a degree in Chemical Engineering so that I can create new formulas for beauty supplies :D. I love to play all sports, but my favorite is basketball. I played in high school and on church teams. I play a few musical instruments: oboe, french horn, and clarinet. I even had the opportunity to play in a pit orchestra for Phantom of the Opera in high school. It was an awesome experience!

Why I am a Mormon

A couple of years ago I was asking myself this same question. I was raised as a member of the LDS church, so I grew up with it being a big part of my life. About two or three years ago I started thinking about the way that I had been living my life and why I was living it the way that I was. I was living the way that I had been taught, but it was more because I knew that it was what I was supposed to do, not really because I had a conviction to the way that I was living. As I was looking back on what I had lived of my life until then, I wanted to get my own conviction that what I had been taught was true. I began to pray and to read my scriptures daily. I wanted to get closer to Heavenly Father. As I was going through this process my conviction of the teachings of the gospel became something that I chose and not just something I was living because my parents expected it. My testimony of my Savior and his mission here on earth grew. I began to use the atonement in my life more regularly and turn to the Savior in my times of need. I know that my Savior Jesus Christ atoned for my sins so that I can have to opportunity to live with him and my Heavenly Father again. I am so grateful to know of this truth and this knowledge has made my life so happy.

How I live my faith

I have served a lot of different ways for the people in my community. I have been a group leader of the girls in our community and have participated in many service projects with them. Showing love to others is a big part of being Christ like and we try to serve others as often as possible.
