Hi I'm brigett ramirez

I grew up in florida. i'm Hispanic. i really love the medical field. And i'm Mormon!

About Me

Hi my name is Brigett but my friends call me g.g. and my family members call my briggie. I am Hispanic, Mexican to be exact and am very proud of my culture. i love to read and listen to music.I am a big fan of horror movies even tho i know i REALLY shouldn't be...and of course i am a big family person so i love to spend a lot of time with my family. I am not married. I was attending a technical school for nursing (lpn) but put it on hold to go on my mission. I am a very caring person and fall in love with people very quickly. Nevada Las Vegas West Misson is where i am currently serving! :)

Why I am a Mormon

i guess what being mormon means to be is not just folowing in his commandments and being a good person..but going far and beyond that. when i was younger i wasn't mormon in other words i didnt grow up in the church. i was baptized when i was 9yr.s old. being quite young i didnt really understand the concept of being lds or mormon. until one day when i was in 7th grade and a classmate asked me what religion i belonged to. i looked a bit puzzled and answered well im not really sure. i later went home and asked my mother if we had a religious background of some sort. she then looked at me puzzled by the question, and said yes were mormon..where have you been? i really do believe my conversion began there because after that i knew exactly where i stood relious wise. as i was taught in the church i began to ask questions and like any child was a bit distracted of what was really going on. so on my own i began reading and praying. and realized i was no longer distracted by things and that i understood what everyone was talking about. i then realized that i loved it. i loved the teachings, the singing, the people, everything! i say this all not because im getting off topic but because i know first hand when people cant seem to understand what were all about or that one just merly feels lost. as time passes by i learn more and more in this church that i know no other would be able to teach me. how to love...everyone. how to pray. how to be grateful. how to change for the better. how to be always hopeful. and primarily how to always have faith. so being mormon to me means all of that and much more it means to be a great person who does everything and anything when it comes to following in the footsteps of our heavenly father and i for one find that to be a privelege. oh and just to be clear the conversion never ends, it only begins again and again as you learn more and more about our heavenly father in the scriptures. i am mormon and wouldnt change it for the world. :)

How I live my faith

when i was younger i was a young womens leader, which is ages 12-18. then helped out in primary, which is with the younger children and then was secratary for relief society. i've also done service in the church and outside of church for example distributing food supplies when hurricane katrina hit in florida.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?
