Hi I'm Michael Kamerath

I grew up in Utah. I love trying new things. I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying Computer Engineering at a University. I love doing anything that is exciting or adventurous. I especially enjoy trying new things and learning how to improve my performance at different sports or activities. My hobbies include tennis, ping pong, programming, tumbling, and hiking. I'm always up to go on an adventure to find new things. I just love being around people and doing fun things.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family that went to church every Sunday. My parents were very big into letting us decide what we wanted to do and experiencing things for ourselves. I went to church with my family but I never really felt connected with the Gospel. Then, a couple of years ago, I had several really tough experiences that tested my faith. I struggled with a lot of sadness that had a big influence on me. While I was going through these trials, I prayed to my Savior to strengthen me and help me find hope for the future. Immediately I could feel the love of our Savior around me. I found that I could deal with the problems I was having and that He would help me on the path to being His disciple. After that moment, I've been able to continue strengthening my testimony by going to church and reading the scriptures. This church is true, I know it, and I love it!

How I live my faith

I love going to church every single week. It gives me the opportunity to learn more about Christ and His plan for us. I always feel the Spirit whenever I am listening to the message of the Gospel. I also help out with planning activities for our Ward on Monday nights. As my partner and I have prayerfully planned activities to try and bring our ward together I have truly felt the Lord's love for those in my ward. I try to serve others as much as possible and I'm always willing to give a ride or lend a hand to those who need it. As I do these things I feel so happy and it makes me want to continue to be a good person.
