Hi I'm Wendy

I am the youngest of the family. I am a recovering addict. I aspire to becoming a doctor. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 7 children. We grew up in a humble 3 bedroom home. When I was 8 we upgraded to a larger home, but this meant leaving everything and everyone behind. I used to be rather shy. I got involved with sports and that became my life. I was in cross country, basketball, swim, and water polo. Water polo was my greatest outlet. I ended up graduating from an online high school due to circumstances that presented themselves. I moved up to Rexburg, Idaho for college. I have had such a great experience there, so far. While I was there I was able to serve a Youth Church-Service Mission in the family history library. This was a blessing to me and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel. My life has been so abundantly blessed because of it. I have had multiple experiences that have contributed to my conversion such as blessings I have received and prayers I have offered. I know that humility is essential to be able to know every aspect of the gospel at a personal level. I know that with prayer we can speak with God and that with the scriptures he can talk to us. I know that He lives. He lives for me. He died for me. I can't say I understand the atonement completely, but I know that it was for me, personally.

How I live my faith

I was an instructor for almost a year. This calling was a huge blessing in my life and has strengthened my testimony. I also volunteered for a special needs group 4 days of the week while attending Brigham Young University Idaho. I also served as a Youth Church-Service Missionary in the family history library.
