Hi I'm wilf

I'm a retired business man, father of 7,missionary for the church, and I am a mormon.

About Me

I'm an avid fisherman. I love my Bolton fishing boat with all of its fishing equip. Love to take my children and grand children out fishing.Love Flaming Gorge. Have 7 of the smartest children, 34 of the cutest grand children, and 5 great grandchildren with 4 more on the way.We have a blast when we all get together. My wife and I are currently serving our 4th mission for the L D S church and are really excited to gather in all those that want to come unto Christ. This is the last gathering and we are excited to be part of it. I love serving with my beautiful wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I am soooo grateful that I found my Savior in the "Mormon" church. In living the principles taught in the Bible, the book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price, I have found great peace and happiness. I am grateful that I know that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christs church on the earth today. I am grateful for the restoration of the gospel in its fullness. I am thankful of my knowledge that Joseph Smith really did see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ and restored Christs' teachings in their fullness. In these uncertain times with hugh problems all around us with no apparent answers I invite all to find the peace and joy that can only be found in being close to Jesus and making him the center of our lives by studying his life and living his teachings. I have tasted of this sweetness and have felt of his forgiveness as I repented and followed his teachings.

How I live my faith

I have not always been active in the church. In my younger life I loved the things of the world and didn't see a need for God in my life. I married a strong woman who loved the Lord and she helped me realize how happy and peaceful living the gospel principles can be. I have had many challenging callings in the church in the past 50 years and have grown, through these experiences, to love and trust in my Savior Jesus Christ.I did not get a chance to serve a mission at age 19 because of my life style at the time. However after receiving my Patriarchal blessing, where in it stated I would one day serve a mission in a land far away and to a people that have never heard of Jesus Christ, I waited patiently through the years. Finally in 2007 our call came to serve in Cambodia. My wife and I loved this time with these choice people and will never forget them. We have also served in an intercity mission to Rose Park. Again the people there were wonderful and we will remember them with much love and admiration. We served for 4 years in Grantsville with some wonderful couples and learned much from those loving couples. We are currently serving in the Utah Provo mission and are really growing. The scriptures and our current leaders tell us that this is the last time our Savior will gather his flock before he comes again and we are excited to be part of that gathering.
