Hi I'm Janeill Gregg

I am from Utah. I love music, art, and softball. I'm a twin. I served in the Italy Milan Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am twenty years old and I served in northern Italy from August 2014-February 2016. I am a BYU student in Provo, Utah. I have a twin brother who is my only sibling. He served his mission in Mexico City, Mexico. I love to sing, play the piano, violin, listen to music and do artsy things! I am a Harry Potter fanatic and I love to read and watch movies. I love Italian and Chinese food and ramen noodles. I live on a mountain, so I love to hike and go four-wheeling all summer long. My favorite sport is softball, and I like to watch wrestling. I love my family and friends, and I love the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith, as well as our current prophet, Thomas S. Monson!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I have grown up learning the doctrine and hearing the testimonies of others. As I have grown up and read the Book of Mormon, I have prayed and personally gained my own testimony that this gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet who translated the Book of Mormon by God's power for us to read today. The Holy Ghost has given a special witness to me that what Joseph Smith said happened in the Sacred Grove really did, and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and know me personally. I know that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ brings true peace and happiness. I know this a lot better now through some of the experiences I have gone through. The biggest lesson on this subject I learned when I was 16. 3 of my best friends were killed unexpectedly in a train accident near my home. It was extremely hard to lose three girls I spent almost every day with. I miss them still so much but I made the decision to trust in the Lord and use the blessings He gives me for the better. I know they were part of my life for a reason and I still remember the great things I learned from knowing them. I'm so happy to know that I can see them again and that they are doing the Lord's work in heaven. I know the Plan of Salvation is real. I feel those three angels with me every day of my life, and I know where they are. I know that the doctrines of the Church are true and I strive to make and keep covenants. I love to go to the temple and I love family history work. The Holy Ghost has warned, comforted, and testified to me, and I know that Jesus Christ lives. I know He atoned for my sins personally. I know He loves me enough to do that for me, and I am so grateful for the eternal family I have and the opportunities I have every day to become a better person and share this everlasting gospel with my fellow brethren and sisters of the world!

How I live my faith

I was a big part of the youth program of my ward, especially with the young women! I have been the President of all three youth groups: Beehives (12-13 year olds), Mia Maids (14-15), and Laurels (16-17). I love to do service with the church and participate in Sunday School, where I have learned about our Savior more. I love to read the Book of Mormon and continue to learn from it. I use my musical talents in my callings in the church, such as singing and playing the violin and piano.
