Hi I'm Roni

I have lived in Utah my whole life. I love to laugh and smile! I'm very good at entertaining myself, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the violin. I have been playing for 7-8yrs. I know sign language because I took it in high school. Right now, I am attending Weber State University and I love it! My favorite color is purple (just throw-in that one out there)! I am the fifth child out of six kids. I'm really short, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I love anything Disney!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings me true joy. It brings me joy that I know that will last. I have watched many people make mistakes, and by doing so it led to some hard consequences. I was raised LDS my whole life, but I gained a testimony for myself. I learned for myself that I knew that it was true! Ever since I was a little kid, my testimony has grown and it continues to become stronger. I strive to live my life in a way that will please my Father in Heaven! When I was a little kid, I struggled reading. I had a hard time understanding what I read and being able to read in general. I would get so frustrated that I couldn't read and when I reached the age of 12 I decided I was going to start reading the Book of Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon is true! The teachings are true and the events that took place in the Book of Mormon really did happen! I tell you the more I read this book, my comprehension soared. That was a miracle! I can honestly say that book has changed my life! I struggled reading for so long that my dad thought I would never be able to read sufficiently. After I finished reading it, I prayed so I could find out if that book was true. I all ready knew it was; I had a clear feeling and understanding that I knew it was true all along. I promise you if you read that book, with the intent to find an answer, you will receive an answer and the Lord will bless your life! He continues to bless mine and my life isn't easy at times, but it makes my life easier when I choose to live like Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. I love church! I currently attend a singles ward and I am preparing to go on a mission ( I don't have my call yet, but I will be submitting my papers soon). I worked at an LDS Girls camp called Oakcrest! Oakcrest is the the happiest place on earth! I worked there last summer. It's a camp for girls the age of 13-14. I worked in the kitchen where I prepared meals for these girls. Also, I was able to go and talk with some of these girls and get to be their friend. We did many activities together; I was able to teach them and let them know of their worth and what I knew to be true about my faith.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Roni
They will tell you about the Book of Mormon and that it is another testament of Christ which means we also believe in the Bible. They both correlate with each other. They will also teach you that families can be together forever. There is a plan of salvation that life after death we all will be resurrected and we can return to Heavenly Father and Christ. They will also tell you and teach you about Joesph Smith and that he was a modern day prophet. Show more Show less
