Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up on both coasts of the US. I'm a son, brother, college student, and future missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the middle child of five brothers. I was the mascot of my high school for four years. I've studied the martial arts my entire life, and I'm currently a brown belt in karate. I enjoy playing basketball, volleyball, and baseball. I play the cello and the bass, and I like to pretend I can sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because being a part of the church and living the teachings of modern prophets has made me happier than anything else in my life. Reading the Book of Mormon and growing closer to God has given me peace in life, true happiness, and satisfaction. I grew up in a loving Mormon family, and I have always believed what I had been taught from a young age about God and Jesus, but as I've grown and matured, I've come to know that what I believe is true. I've asked God about the truthfulness about the Book of Mormon, and He has told me through the Holy Spirit that it is His word.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by obeying God's commandments and trying to be like Jesus. I volunteer as a cub scout leader at my church building, and I help plan events for other young adults in my congregation. I try to serve as a good example for the people I associate with.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The missionaries will share God's words concerning faith, repentance, baptism, the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. These messages will teach you how to return to God's presence after you die and live forever with your family in happiness. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is simply what someone knows to be true because of a witness from God through the Holy Ghost. Testimonies grow and develop over time, and are the result of obedience to God's commandments and actively searching for that witness from the Spirit. I have gained a testimony - a sure knowledge - of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon because I have read it and prayed to God, asking Him if it is true, and He has revealed to me that it is.
