Hi I'm Jordan

I have lived in Utah my entire life. I have five wonderful siblings. I enjoy reading, piano, and sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an average boy that is very happy. Much of my happiness comes from my family. They have done so much for me in my life. I enjoy so many things. I love reading good books. I love playing the piano even though I can't read music very well. I also love all sports. I have played baseball, basketball, and football most of my life. In high school I focused on basketball and played for a great team. My junior year we lost in the state tournament semi-finals in overtime on a half court buzzer beater. It was a very hard loss but for my senior year we made it back to the tournament and ended up winning the state championship. I love to camp, hike, and simply be with people.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been born to parents who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but this is not the reason why I am a Mormon. I have been raised and taught to try my best to be a good person and live the commandments of God. As I have tried to live these standards I have come to know that these are God´s standards and that this truly is the Church of Jesus Christ on the earth. By living the principles of the Gospel, I am truly happy. I feel so grateful for this knowledge and my testimony of the Gospel. Also, I have prayed to God in the name of Jesus Christ to know if this church is true. After doing so I have felt the Holy Ghost bare witness that this is the only true church on the Earth. There are so many wonderful churches that go about doing very good things in this world. I am grateful for the faith of those of other religions, but I have come to find out for myself that there is only one church that has the fulness of the truth about God, His son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. And that church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by helping others, being an example, and sharing what I believe. I have had opportunities to be in leadership positions to serve others. As a young man I have been able to lead the other young men in my neighborhood. I love each and every one of these people. I look up to them so much for trying to be a good person and living their faith in this world. I have also been able to be on a service committee at my school, as well as a member of the council that oversees the religion classes at my high school. During this I have been able to learn about others' challenges and try to reach out to them as best as I can. Often times, I do this simply by being an example. I have been influenced greatly by people who I barely know or sometimes by someone I have never talked to. I want to be like those people. I want to help others just through the way I live. I wish to help them find happiness in this life by coming unto Jesus Christ through faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.
