Hi I'm Bryton

I'm the oldest of seven. I love movies. I'm a singer. I'm a basketball player. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm your average young adult. I like spending time with friends, watching TV and movies, and playing sports. I LOVE music, and I love to sing! I've been raised in the church, but I've had to find out for myself if it is true. I served a Church Service-Mission at the Bishop's Storehouse in Carrollton, Texas.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this church is true. Plain and simple. There are so many different faiths and religions in the world. I understand how it can be very confusing to find out which one is true or to think that there's no God at all. A man named Joseph Smith had the exact same questions that I've had. Where did I come from? Why am I here on this earth? Where do I go and what happens to me after I die? Which church is true? Are they all wrong? Through faith, studying, and prayer, he was able to find the truth. I know he saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ and that through him, Christ's church was restored on the earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It was translated by Joseph Smith through the power of God. I know that Christ lives. I know that I am a follower of Him. I know that I can return to live with my Father in Heaven again. I know that there is a prophet on the earth today, just as there was in ancient times, who is directed by the Lord. As I've followed the teachings of the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and the words of the Prophet, I have received so many blessings. I have found happiness that never ends. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Being a Church Service-Missionary, I serve at the Bishop's Storehouse each Tuesday and Saturday. The purpose of the Bishop's Storehouse is to provide food and basic necessities to those who are in need. I'm a home-teacher in my Young-Single Adult Branch. Being a home-teacher means that I visit different members in my branch to see how they're doing, help them with anything they need, and teach them lessons about the Gospel.
