Hi I'm Tammie

I am a Photographer and a Mother of 3. Living the life of a Mormon and I love it!

About Me

I have lived in Utah my whole life. I grew up in an LDS family with great parents as examples; Not only good examples of being good parents, but how to follow Christ. I now have a little family of my own. I have three children whom I adore and can't live without. I try hard to teach them about Christ's life; so that they may know him. I love everything Photography. I love taking photos and love looking at photos. When I have time or just need a break; I pick up my camera! I love seeing all the beautiful creations my Heavenly Father has created for me to enjoy!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in Utah and in a LDS family did not give me the opportunity to experience life without the gospel. I don't know what it is like to NOT know Christ. There was time in my life where I chose for a short time to not follow all of the LDS standards. BUT I learned quickly, I had headed down a path I did not want to go. I have always had really supportive parents and not only in church things, but in life in general. It was because of them that I was able to see true happiness. They showed me that all things are possible with Jesus Christ in your life. I have felt his love for me and his desire for me to be happy. He has blessed me in my life so many times. Not only in big life changing decisions, but in so many little moments. That to others may seem trivial, but to me, I knew he guided me along or put someone in my life to help when he couldn't physically do something for me! Now that I have my own family and am raising my kids; I KNOW with all my heart that I am a Mormon because I choose to be a Mormon! Some people say that the standards of the LDS/Mormon Faith are restrictive, but in fact they are liberating. I am truly happy! I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ died for me. He paid for my sins knowing that I would sin and loves me all the same. I have felt his love for me and my children. He knows me and knows my little family here on this earth and is anxious for us to return to him. I know that one day; when he comes again, I will see him. I hope he will be pleased with my efforts to truly know him and teach my kids; because really in the end, that is all we can do. Try our best!

How I live my faith

My most important job I have, is raising my children. I want them to KNOW Christ. I am always looking for ways to teach them to be more like Christ. We try to read from the Scriptures as a family every night. Most times, we are stopping so much to tell the kids to be quiet and listen that I can't remember what is happening; but persistence has given us many opportunities to talk about Christ and his life. Each Week on Sundays, I get the privilege of teaching the little kids that are 3. For most of them it is their first time in a class room setting. I love this church responsibility so much. We teach a lot about the creation and the many things our Heavenly Father has given us. It helps me focus on the little blessings we receive in life.
