Hi I'm Alexis

I'm a Mormon. I converted when I was 18.

About Me

I am a convert, and converted to the church when I was 18. I love to sing, and listen to all music. I will be going to college to become a special education teacher in elementary schools.

Why I am a Mormon

I always knew there is a Father in Heaven, but I never really had a set religion. As I got older, life got harder and harder, and I needed help. I needed something to help me through. I prayed and asked Him what I should do in my life, what I needed to change. That same evening my brother came to me and asked me if I would like to be visited by the Sister Missionaries. I initially said yes, not knowing if it was going to help, but as I was taught the lessons, I realized that this Gospel was absolutely beautiful. I prayed and it was confirmed to me through the Spirit that this church is true. My brother baptized me, and I found that every moment I was an active member of the church, I was happy. This Gospel, this love that is shown to me by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is the greatest gift and feeling that I have ever felt. He knows me, and He knows what I can and cannot handle in life, and even if things get really tough, I know that the Savior can help me to carry burdens. I not only spent my life before I was a member without the Gospel, but I also became inactive for about 2 years after I was baptized. And my life is so much more full of happiness, joy, and light in my time of active participation in the Gospel. I love the Gospel, and I am thankful for it's presence in my life, and hope that one day all can feel of its warmth.

How I live my faith
