Hi I'm Jordan Esser

I'm quite a classy dresser. I look good in a sweater. Don't tie me to a fetter. I'm a real go getter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jordan Esser. I'm 20 years old. I love to play basketball, football, and soccer. I am studying at B.Y.U. in Provo and am trying to figure out what to do with my life. I am the 7th of 8 children and would not trade my big family for anything in the world. I like all types of music and all types of food.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have hope in Christ. By that I mean that I believe that he died and rose again and because he did that I too can live again after I die. This hope has come through many hours of reading, studying, and praying about the scriptures as well as following the commandments God has set for us. There have been times in my life that I have felt burdens lifted and felt comforted when there seemed to be no where to turn. I have no other explanation for the comfort other than that there is a God and that he was watching out for me.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by doing specific things every day and by making life decisions that draw me closer to Christ. I read from the Book of Mormon or the Bible daily. When I do this feel a sense of strength and purpose fill my thoughts throughout the day. I pray and I look for opportunities to help others daily. The opportunities to help always become obvious and I feel comfort and peace as I pray and talk to my Heavenly Father. For my life goals, I try to surround myself with people who share my same goals in life. They do not have to be Mormon, they just have to love serving and caring about other people. I also am trying to obtain as good of education as I can in order to be able to serve those around me more and more as I get older.
