Hi I'm Erica

I was born in Utah, but while I was growing up, we moved around a lot. My family and faith keep me grounded.

About Me

Currently, I'm a college student, taking a break to be able to serve a mission. I don't really know what I want to do with my future, but I have a few ideas. I want to be able to help people. I want to help people have hope in their own future and in the world. I absolutely love music. In High School, I participated in marching band and it was my life. I don't know if I want to make it a career though. But it will always be a favorite pastime. I like to read, index, watch movies and TV, and spend time doing anything with my family, especially playing board games.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always grown up in the Church, but that doesn't mean I've always known it was true. In the beginning, I based my faith on my parents' testimonies. As I've gotten older, I've felt Heavenly Father's love for me. I know what forgiveness feels like. And it is here. I feel it the most when I attend church, when I pray to know the truth for myself, when I read my scriptures and when I share it with others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping my standards high. I live my faith by being kind to others. I live my faith by bearing my testimony. I live my faith by praying, attending church, and reading scriptures daily.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

To invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. We believe Heavenly Father loves all His children and wants them to come unto Him through Christ and to live with Him again. Missionaries help others do so. Show more Show less
